The Changing Land

Dilvish came out of Hell sworn to kill Jelerak, the wizard who sent him there, and finds Jelerak missing. Around the wizard's castle the land shifts under the magic of an insane god, and a small army of sorcerers wants its secrets. The situation, Dilvish realizes, "was a mess". Del Rey gave the novel its first book publication in April 1981, under Michael Herring's cover.
