We take old science fiction paperbacks seriously.
For a stretch of the twentieth century, paperback publishers commissioned the cover painting first and hired a writer to fill in the book behind it. The result is a body of commercial art most people have stopped looking at and a great deal of novels that turned out to be quietly clairvoyant. Parquecasa Publishing is a curated shop built around that art.
About the shop
If the cover was the product when these books were made, the cover is the product when we sell them. Listings show the painting only — no title, no author, no description. You choose the way the first buyers did; through which images spoke most intimately to you. The story that arrives home is the one that found you.
Every Parquecasa is priced against its fair market value, plus a curation premium. You will never overpay for what you receive.

An idea I couldn't say no to. A book-length dialogue with an AI, written before I fully understood what I was walking into.
The first eight chapters of a book I may or may not finish. Written in my last year of university, when the questions I could not answer inside the institution became a piece of fiction instead.
Questions, a book you think belongs here, or just want to say hello?
