What it is

Pica turns the covers of vintage paperbacks into collectible cards. Photograph a cover — a book on your shelf, one you find at a thrift store, one on a friend's coffee table — and Pica documents it as a card graded by a seal tier system: from trace to canon. Every card is earned through documentation, never bought. Grow your personal life list of paperback covers. Contribute discoveries to a shared archive of what the twentieth century imagined.
