The Explorers

The first collection of Kornbluth's shorter fiction, and it reaches both ways: back to "Thirteen O'Clock", one of his earliest stories, and forward to "Gomez", a novelette printed here for the first time. This is the writer who, with Frederik Pohl, imagined an advertiser's utopia in The Space Merchants. Ballantine issued it in 1954 as No. 86, at thirty-five cents.
