The Best of John Jakes

What, the back cover asks, is the author of eleven million copies of Bicentennial novels doing on a science fiction list? The answer is that science fiction was John Jakes's first love, and these novelettes and stories were gathered at his own request. DAW issued them in June 1977 as No. 244, under a Jack Gaughan cover.
